Calculating Dog Years:

Although most people think that one year of a dogs life is equal to 7 human years, this is not so.  Dogs mature at a much faster rate during the first couple of years.  At one year, they are capable of reproducing where as a 7 year old child is of course not.  Here is how you calculate it:

• 5 Months              10 Years
  

• 8 Months              13 Years
  

• 10 Months            14 Years
  

• 12 Months            15 Years
  

• 18 Months            20 Years
  

• 2 Years                24 Years
  

After that, each human year is equivalent to 4 dog years.  How old is your dog?
