UPDATE! At 13 Weeks this little girl has started putting on weight. We are feeding her Gerber's Baby food (Beef & Chicken) and she cleans her plate, she now weighs 14 oz. She is full of spit and vinager and just loves it when it is her time to run and play. We will put the bigger puppies outside so that they don't hurt her, and we let her have run of the house for several hours a day, and run she does. She is too tiny to be flown and will need to be picked up or we will have to work something out.
UPDATE! AT 7 Weeks "Tiny Hiney" (What we have come to call her) weighs 10 oz. She is a fiesty little girl who jumps on her brother (Three times bigger then her) without even thinking about it. She finally got her puppy cut and is as cute as can be, I put in before and after shots of her puppy cut. To give you an idea of how small she is if you put a dime on her foot you can barely see some of her foot but a penny will cover it completely. She is using the piddle pad on a regular basis now and is eating solid food really good. Her Mom has weined her so we watch her closely to make sure she gets enough to eat.
UPDATE! At 5 Weeks this beautiful little girl has made it up to 6 oz. She is by far one of the smallest babies we have ever had here. Her siblings are still at least twice her size. I have put in pictures of her by a coke can so that you can get an idea of just how small she is. She is doing great and is getting out and playing with her siblings, she goes where ever she wants and she and her siblings will start on solid food this week.
UPDATE! At 3 Weeks this beautiful little girl finally makes it on the scales at 2 oz.!! She is SO tiny, but doing well. She has her eyes open now and is trying to walk. Her siblings are more then twice her size and it is funny looking in their bed and seeing her tiny little body laying next to them all snuggled up.
UPDATE! At 1 Week this beautiful little girl has gained some but not quite enough to register on the scale yet, (it will show 1 oz. then go away) by her next update she should be at least an ounce. She is doing great and gets a firm hold on a boob when it is time to eat. I started out holding her there to make sure she was eating, now when I check on her she is eating with no problem, her little belly stays full. Silvy is a wonderful Mom and stays right with her and her siblings keeping them safe and warm.
Eric and Silvy are the proud parents of 3 new babies! They have a Boy and two girls. This is the tiny little black & white parti female. She is very small and the other two siblings are at least twice her size, she does not let that bother her though and will push them out of the way so that she can nurse. At 1 day old she does not register on my scale (scales start at 1 oz.) I put her weight at 1 oz but she is probably closer to 1/2 oz. She is adorable with one black and one white eye, she looks like she has a shiner. At just a day old she and her siblings are doing great, Silvy is a doting Mom and stays right with the babies.
